Gunsmoke
- Gunsmoke was one of the long lived, classic Old Time Radio shows that most
folks know or at least recognize. If you're old enough, you most likely
remember it from radio. If you're a bit younger then us, then you probably
know the show from its move to early TV where it ran for about 20 years. If
you enjoyed Gunsmoke on TV, you will love the early radio episodes. It isn't
often we get to see, or in this case hear, where some of our most beloved TV

The Roy Rogers Show
- I grew up watching the Roy Rogers show on TV. There once was a photo of
me, about age 2, sitting in front of our first TV, and on the screen could
be seen Roy and Trigger. Now that I'm a bit older, I've come to enjoy the
classic Roy Rogers radio shows. I'm sure you'll enjoy them also. There are over 75 episodes
and better then 38 hours of wonderful western action and entertainment contained on the CD.
Wild Bill Hickock - Guy Madison starred as Wild Bill Hickock. His sidekick "Jingles," was
played by Andy Devine, who was fantastic in the role. What were Wild Bill
and Andy looking for as they rode through the west? Why for adventure, of

A radio version of Hopalong Cassidy, with Andy Clyde as the sidekick,
began broadcasting on The Mutual Broadcasting System, in January of 1950. At
the end of September, the show moved to CBS Radio, where it ran until 1952.
The popularity of the show grew every time it was heard. The radio show,
along with his movies and television shows helped Hopalong Cassidy one of
the most popular heroes of the West. Hopalong’s popularity continues to grow
even today as new generations and of course, us older folks, delight in the
classic tale of this great American hero. So sit back and enjoy one of the most popular
